In addition to Pope Francis' address, Grades 9 and 10 will read:

Non-Fiction: Enrique's Journey: The Story of a Boy's Dangerous Odyssey to Reunite with His Mother by Sonia Nazario (Young Adult edition)

Poetry:  Prospective Immigrants Please Note by Adrienne Rich

Multi-media: Please watch Pulitzer Prize winning writer Sonia Nazario's TED talk on immigration.

Non-Fiction: Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson

Poetry:  Let America Be America Again by Langston Hughes

Multi-media: Please watch human rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson's TED talk on the United States' justice system.
